OIT will visit tomorrow at 1:30pm. Next week Utah State will make it’s first visit to Churchill on Thursday, January 15th at 10:00am. Juniors, have you finished the Junior Project? All work should be completed this semester.
Softball:
Attention all softball players there will be a meeting on Thursday at 6:00pm in the Library.

Danger: You may not have a yearbook reserved! Check the list by Mr. Hoffman’s room , G-13 near the library entrance. The price will go up in January, so the sooner you reserve one with Janette in the front office the better.
Stocking Drive:
The holidays are approaching us quickly. The stocking drive is here to help. Ask your teachers for more information or get a flyer from the Activity Center. The drive has started and goes to the 19th. Blue 2 classes, clubs, sports teams and anyone else who would like to take a stocking, see the Activity Center.

Toys for Tots are looking for help this weekend the times are: Friday from 4:30pm to 9:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 8:00am to 5:00pm. You can sign up and ask questions in the activity center.
Students who ordered transcripts, please come and pick them up.
School to Career:
Attention job seekers! Are you looking for a way to make some money? Are you now, or will you be 18 by February 2, 2009? If you are, then a temporary job with the US Census Bureau may be for you. Be a Census Taker for the next census. Work weekends and evenings from February through May. See the job opportunity board outside the Registrar’s office, or see the School to Career Coordinator, Mary Beth for more details.
Interact Club:
There’s a new club in town! Are you interested in getting involved in your community both locally and globally? Come check out the Interact Club today for a pizza lunch in the Career Center. Get involved and make a difference.

Congratulations to the Dance Team for placing FIRST in the Hip Hop division and SECOND in the Jazz division this past Saturday at Scappoose High School. Great job ladies.

Just $5.00 for students. As always, anyone wishing to see the play who can’t afford it should see Al in the choir room.
Auditions for Churchill’s musical Once Upon A Mattress, based upon the fairy tale The Princess and the Pea are next week. If you’ve ever thought about being in a show, go for it. It’s time consuming, a lot of work and an experience you’ll always remember. Drop by the choir room to get more information.

Today, Pioneer Pacific College will visit the Career Center at noon. Come learn about this highly focused private career college offering opportunities in businesses, computers, health and legal professions.
Canned Food Drive:
The canned food drive has been extended to December 5th. Keep bringing in your canned goods.

It’s this Saturday in the cafeteria from 1:00 to 4:00pm. For more information contact the Activity Center. This is a great “kid sitting” activity for parents who can shop while the kids have fun.
